When country music star Luke Bryan comes to a town like Prairie Grove it’s a big deal for the local community.
It all started when local quick stop restaurant, Fredricks, who got word that Luke Bryan was looking for the perfect farm for his tour.
It just so happens, Ogden Ranch owner, Nathan Ogden was in the right place at the right time.
Weston Bartholomew’s parent’s own Fredricks. He said,”They came in here and ate lunch and I came over here and asked Nathan if I could go out there and show the farm tour manager his place to do the concert, and he said heck yea, lets have a party.”
Bartholomew said as soon as the crew saw Ogden Ranch they immediately knew it was the perfect spot.
“We drove them around to five or six different farms and we got to Nathan’s and and right when we pulled in he said, ‘This is the place. “
As Luke Bryan’s crew started to roll in over the last few days, it’s been pretty surreal.
“I kinda was sitting here, boy this is pretty crazy. And I text my wife, and said this is pretty crazy if you think about it. And of course my kids are bouncing off the walls. And you know, they’re three and five, but they just know something fun is going to happen! “
With the chance for up to 20-thousand people to be at his ranch, Nathan said, this will top any concert.
“Back in college, we were pretty proud that we could throw some pretty hum dinger parties, but this one’s going to be tough to top. “
Several local businesses are also reaping the benefits of the concert.
“They’re all local people so it’s kind of cool, theres Landmark Security hired all local people to do the parking. There’s a lot of Washington County Sheriff Deputies that get over time because of it. “
In small town USA, they’re ready for Luke to crash their party.
“You had told me a year ago that Luke Bryan was coming to Prairie Grove, I woulda called you a liar, ” said Bartholomew.
