Some of the guns that were stolen from a Prairie Grove hardware store have been recovered and four have been arrested.
According to Capt. Jeff O’Brien with the Prairie Grove Police Department, four juveniles have been arrested for the crime.
Captain O’Brien says the juveniles range from 14-16 years old and resided in portions of Benton County and Washingon County.
There were 77 total firearms stolen.
The arrests were made late last night. They were arrested on charges of commercial burglary, felony theft of firearms, and criminal mischief.
O’Brien said in a press conference that the four were also linked to a commercial burglary case in Lincoln.
The firearms, including pistols, revolvers and long rifles, were stolen from Ace Hardware Store on West Buchanan Street during a burglary at approximately 4:40 a.m. Friday, February 15.
Four suspects were involved in the second theft, according to authorities.
