The Prairie Grove School District will test its school safety app on Wednesday.
The app is called Rave 911. It’s a mobile application that enhances emergency response by communicating details of an onsite crisis to faculty, staff and security resource officers, while simultaneously notifying emergency officials.
The district will test the app, and place 911 calls from each of its campuses.
Washington County EMS and other local law enforcement officials are scheduled to be onsite.
