FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KFTA) — A Johnson man sold psychedelic mushrooms to a confidential informant working with narcotics officers, authorities said.
Christopher Charles, 22, of Johnson was arrested on suspicion of three counts of delivery of controlled substance, possession of controlled substance with purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled substance, according to a Fayetteville police report.
Detectives with the 4th Judicial Drug Task Force investigated Charles for selling drugs, the report states.
“During the investigation, detectives conducted three controlled buy operations, purchasing psilocybin mushrooms from Charles,” the report states. “The purchases were made via a confidential informant, with pre-recorded drug task force buy funds and recorded.”
Authorities made contact with Charles and found 10 doses of LSD in his possession as well as 5 grams of marijuana, the report states.
Charles allowed authorities to search his residence, and they located various drug paraphernalia, the report states.
