She’s become the lobby greeter at the Washington County Animal Shelter but she’s hoping to get promoted to the role of forever family pet.
Zoey is a nine-year-old Minpin and she came to the shelter as an owner-surrender, her owners could no longer care for her. She’s great with other dogs, she loves to be a lap dog and cuddle.
She is a senior and she does have dental needs. So the shelter is looking an adoptive family to adopt her that would be willing to take care of her teeth. She plays with toys and she loves to play with all the other dogs. Right now she’s calm but if you get to know her and start to pet her she gets the zoomies and rubs her belly on the ground.
She’s really a great dog she just needs another family to take care of her for the rest of her life.
The whole month of March, the shelter is having a special with $17 cats and dogs. They’re some cats and other dogs for adoption. They’re all $17, they come fully vaccinated, up to date on all of their shots, deworming, heartworm prevention and microchipped, and they’ll be spayed or neutered once they’re adopted.
