Ramsey Junior High Students Compete in Robotics Competition

Engineering students from Ramsey Junior High competed with students from across the nation in a robotics competition.

This team is the only public school team in the state of Arkansas that made it to this weekend’s championship tournament.

The student engineered and student built robot, pawl battled today, hoping to take home the top spot.

Their teacher, Bethany Strasser, said she could not be prouder of her kids.

“That’s what it’s really about.. to see them compete with seniors in high school and kids who have been doing this a long time and they’re holding their own,” said Ramsey Junior High teacher, Bethany Strasser.

Each fall, over 18 thousand students participate in this competition.
