Razorback Fans Celebrate Men's and Women's Golf Teams' Successful Seasons at LPGA

ROGERS, Ark. (KNWA) -- The second day of professional play at the Northwest Arkansas Championship Sponsored by P&G is wrapping up with several former razorbacks competing.

Between the Diamond Hogs going for the National Title in Omaha, the two current Razorback athletes on the course, as well as the two former Hogs competing alongside them, it has fans excited for what turned out to be beautiful day at Pinnacle Country Club.

Razorback Fan Day went on all day Saturday at Hub 479 right near the Hole 17 to celebrate the success of the Razorbacks men's and women's golf team's season.

Fans could meet Pork chop the mascot, join the spirit squad to call the Hogs, and take a look at the SEC 2018 Golf Championship trophy on display.

"You have little kids come up to you and they're just like hi and your just like oh, hi, I remember when I was that little they just hug and love on you when you take a picture and they're just like, cheese and your cheesing with them. It's adorable and precious. It reminds me of why I love to do what I do," said Kennedy Hill, a Razorback cheerleader.

There was a sea of red Saturday to support Stacy Lewis, Gaby Lopez, Maria Fassi and Dylan Kim.
