Real ID deadline extension as a result of COVID-19 pandemic

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — President Donald Trump announced today you’ll have more time to apply for a real ID.

Originally, you had to have it by October 1 to be able to fly or enter a federal building.

The President said he is extending the deadline, but did not give a new timeline.
