Reward Offered for Information about a Fayetteville Bank Robbery

The FBI is offering a reward for information about a Fayetteville bank robbery that happened in December, according to an FBI press release.

On Friday, December 7, 2018, the Centennial Bank on West Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, in Fayetteville, was robbed.

A man entered the bank around 9:51 a.m. and pointed a gun at the teller.  The gun appeared to have the letters “SS” above the trigger guard, according to the FBI.

The teller handed the suspect approximately $9,000, according to authorities.

The FBI describes the suspect as male, about 30 years old, 5″6; to 5″8′ tall, was wearing a heavy black coat, hat with flaps, and gray gloves. He has a rough voice, bad teeth and was clean shaven.

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
