The League of River Valley Voters’ (LRVV) February meeting is moved to a new location since the Fort Smith Library will be closed for President’s Day.

On Monday, February 18, the LRVV will meet at Harry E. Kelley River Park Events Building at noon to discuss the facts of the Marshal’s Museum one-cent sales tax proposal, according to LRVV President, Jeannie Cole.

The U.S. Marshals Museum Leadership Team will do a presentation at the meeting, according to Cole.

“We should be able to see the construction going on as we listen to the presentation,” Cole said.

The public is invited to come to the meeting to hear all the points to consider for this decision.

The River Park Events Building is the one next to the amphitheater on the Riverfront.

The Museum is located at 14 N 3rd St Suite D, in Fort Smith.
