LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KARK) – The Riverfest music festival is set to make a return to Arkansas’ capital city.
We’re told a Memphis group plans to bring it back.
Organizers say they hope to make it more affordable and plan to include a carnival aspect.
Over the years, the festival has featured performers like REO Speedwagon, Chicago, B.B. King, and Brad Paisley.
This year’s acts will be announced on April 1 and the festival will take place over the Memorial Day Weekend.
A formal press announcement has been set for Monday afternoon at the First Security Amphitheater in Riverfront Park.
