FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KFTA) — Former President Bill Clinton made a stop in the capital city to kick off a new temporary exhibit at the Clinton Center.
The exhibit is called “Louder Than Words: Rock, Power and Politics.”
The experience is organized by presidential administrations from Eisenhower through Obama.
It features more than 50 artists and political figures , including Beyonce, Aretha Franklin, Madonna, Bob Marley among others.
It explores how rock and roll has changed attitudes about patriotism, peace and equality.
“It tells the story of how rock and roll shaped and how rock and roll reflected our culture, and really how it connected the politics around the world and in the us,” said Greg Harris, president and CEO of the rock and roll hall of fame.
The exhibit opens to the public on Monday. March 12 and goes through August 5.
