The city of Rogers hosted its second annual ‘Lake Atalanta Appreciation Day’.
The event celebrated the cite’s lakes and parks with trash clean up, education displays, and special giveaways for participants.
Clean up took place around the paved and soft trails, along the creek of Lake Atalanta and other areas that needed a little love.
“It’s a passion of ours, we wanna keep Lake Atlalanta as clean as possible,” UofA Division of Agriculture Trish Ouei said. “Looks like all the trails are going to be covered today. Even the expert trails high up on the hills we’ve got those covered.”
The general public was invited to attend.
