Rogers Hosting Drive to Help Kids in the Hospital

ROGERS, Ark. (KFTA) — Christmas is quickly approaching, but there is still time to brighten the holiday of a child in the community.

Downtown Rogers is hosting a toy drive to benefit families at Arkansas Children’s Northwest Hospital. Items can be dropped off at various downtown businesses, including Bodylove Naturals on Elm Street. Owner, Stacy Antonelli said the drive is a great way to support kids and families in the hospital.

“They’re not able to get out and shop for their kids and make it a traditional, festive holiday,” Antonelli said. “To be able to do that makes a huge impact and gives them a great holiday.”

The drive will not only help the kids, but can also help boost businesses in Rogers.

“There’s so many businesses in downtown Rogers and really cool places to shop that people wouldn’t know about,” Antonelli said. “So give back to the kids, shop local and support downtown.”

New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off until Thursday, December 13 at these participating stores.
