BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) — Even at max capacity, the Salvation Army of Bentonville is still welcoming those who need a warm place to go.
With frigid temperatures moving in, the shelter is providing refuge overnight and even during the daytime.
Shelter Director Danny Camarillo said he’s already seen an increase in those seeking resources this year, when compared to last year at this time.
“We’ll do what we can especially when it gets really cold, we will exceed our capacity even more so,” Camarillo said.
Camarillo said the Salvation Army of Bentonville will put cots up around the facility to ensure everyone has a comfortable place to stay.
