Secret Service to Host Training on Protecting Communities through Threat Assessment

BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) - The Secret Service Little Rock Field Office is hosting a training event to provide threat assessment.

The training will be for law enforcement, work place, security personnel, school officials, mental health professionals and other public safety personnel.

The four hour workshop will be held on Tuesday, November 6 at 1 p.m. at the Sam's Club Home Office in Bentonville.

The Secret Service’s National Threat Assessment Center will provide this valuable training
which focuses on threat assessment and training within the Secret Service, law enforcement, public
safety, and academia.

This workshop is open to school resource officers, police investigators, school
administrators & counselors, psychologists and anyone who may potentially be involved in a risk
detection or risk management position.
