UPDATE 10:55 a.m.:
One lane on I-49 northbound has been now been open, according to West Fork Fire Department. The department says a wrecker arrived at the scene to take the burned semi away.
No injuries were reported and no other cars were involved, according to West Fork Fire.
A semi-truck caught fire on I49 Northbound on Thursday.
Pictures and video show the truck on smoking with flames.
According to Fayetteville Fire, the West Fork Fire Department responded to the fire. Fayetteville Fire is assisting in the incident.
The northbound on I-49 is now closed near Greenland. Fire crews are rerouting traffic through Greenland.
The fire has been extinguished.
