Senator Tom Cotton made an appearance in Northwest Arkansas on Tuesday at a Veterans Commission meeting.
Cotton spoke with former World War II prisoners of war and War on Terrorism vets at the Veterans Home in Fayetteville. Cotton spoke about the work he does with the Arkansas Veterans Commission while at the event. He said the goal of the commission is to ensure that veterans get the benefits and medical care they deserve.
“As a veteran myself and the son of a veteran as well who’s the chair of the veterans commission, it’s one of my highest priorities to make sure that we care for the men and women who fought for our freedoms and give them the high quality service and respect that they deserve,” said Cotton.
Senator Cotton said if you or a veteran you know has any issues, contact the Veterans Commission office.
