The Senior Circle for Northwest Health sponsored a hands only CPR class Wednesday.

Experts taught adults 50 and over what to do if they find themselves in an emergency situation.

CPR can save a life and comes in extra handy for those with an active lifestyle.

“They could be in an emergency situation at anytime these folks are active,” said Lesa Tucker, Senior Circle  advisor for Northwest Health. “They go to the Senior Center, they go to their grandkids sporting events, they are shoppin’, they’re traveling. So it could happen anytime.”

Even though class does not provide any certification, it does prepare those who take it to provide assistance until first responders arrive on scene.
