Several Construction Projects Across NWA

Heads up for those driving through Springdale—temporary road work will cause lane closures this week. 

    The elm springs road overpass will be operating with one lane only.
    The work will begin tomorrow and wraps up on Wednesday.
    The lanes will be closed from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. affecting the outside lane first, followed by the inside lane.

    In Fayetteville, traffic will be restricted on elm street and Green Acres Road.
    Tomorrow from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. ,city departments will be installing storm water drain pipes.
    Officials advise those driving in the area to use caution and to watch for construction workers and their equipment

Also in Fayetteville, there will be work to improve some sidewalks.
    The transportation division is replacing a section of sidewalk along the northwest side of Columbus Boulevard.
    The sidewalk will be closed beginning tomorrow and will continue for the next three weeks.
    Work will take place from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. on weekdays only.
