The Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office arrested two sex offenders.
Over the last few days, the sheriff’s office and other law agencies have conducted Operation Undivided.
The goal is to find, locate,and verify every sex offender in Sebastian County.
Over 300 are registered in the county, and just under 300 were verified. Eight warrants are pending.
Eric Chestine, 31, of Huntington was arrested on suspicion of manufacturing marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, and 56-year-old John Wesley Jones of Fort Smith was arrested for failure to appear and suspicion of felony possession of drug paraphernalia.
The sheriff’s office also reports that two children under the age of 5 were located with an offender and taken by the Department of Human Services.
