Thousands of people from across the world are making their way into Northwest Arkansas for Walmart’s biggest annual event.
Global and nationwide Walmart employees are in town for this year’s Shareholders Meeting.
Marrie Ezouard, who flew into Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport Monday morning, has worked with the company for 17 years.
She tells us she’s beyond excited for her first shareholders meeting and first trip to the Natural State.
“Soon as I came down, everyone was laughing and clapping,” Ezouard said. “I was like, ‘Oh my gosh! I feel like I’m in my house now.'”
On the company’s schedule this week, a formal business meeting on Wednesday and a celebration for associates and shareholders on Friday.
