Siloam Springs Man Arrested for Raping Teen, Police Say

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KFTA) — A Siloam Springs man admitted to raping a teenage girl, police say.

Thomas Christopher, 27, was booked into the Benton County Detention Center on suspicion of rape, according to an affidavit written by detective Ron Coble of the Siloam Springs Police Department.

The Arkansas State Police’s Child Abuse Hotline notified Siloam Springs police that the teen told a relative that Christopher had fondled her both above and beneath her clothing, the affidavit states.

The girl was interviewed, and she said that Christopher had fondled her private areas, the affidavit states.

When Christopher was interviewed, he admitted fondling the girl and described how he committed the act, the affidavit states.

A criminal history check on Christopher revealed a failure to appear charge, the affidavit states.

Christopher is being held at the jail on $50,000 bond, according to the affidavit.
