The largest manufacturer of TSA awarded two $10,000 scholarships to kids who belong to members of the Bentonville Police Department.

“The recipients were chosen by an independent panel of judges,” a news release stated.

This is the third year of this event.

The Bottle Crew gave the scholarships to Matt Jordan of Bentonville High School and Alissa Carlson of Bentonville West High School. Both students will use the scholarship to further their education at the University of Central Arkansas and Northwestern Oklahoma State University, respectively.

The Bentonville Police Department received $55,000 from The Bottle Crew.

“We are privileged to be able to extend scholarships to the sons and daughters of local law enforcement. We hope these scholarships provide a little relief to the family as we know education is important and yet expensive, ” said Bottle Crew VP Hanni Griffin.
