(via KSN) A jury handed down a guilty verdict in a 2015 double homicide case involving a Springdale man.
After roughly four hours of deliberation, jurors decided Christopher Paschall was guilty of two counts of first degree murder, three counts of armed criminal action and a single count of parental kidnapping.
The jury began deliberation around 12:30 Thursday afternoon.
Barry County officials say Paschall drove to a home in Washburn in January of 2015 and shot his 29-year-old estranged girlfriend Casie Brace, killing her.
He also shot her grandfather, 76-year-old Herbert Townsend who later died.
Paschall took his 2-year-old daughter from the home to his father’s house in Springdale, Arkansas where he was later arrested.
The trial was moved to newton county on a change of venue.
He will be sentenced on December 19.
