Springdale Woman Killed in Car Crash

CARROLL COUNTY, Ark. (KNWA) — A Springdale woman was killed in a vehicle collision in Carroll County on Sunday.

Lois L. Roubidoux, 88, died from injuries the sustained when the vehicle she was in collided with another vehicle on U.S. 412 in rural Carroll County, according to an Arkansas State Police report.

Lois Roubidoux and David Leon Roubidoux, 76, were driving east on 412 in a 2006 Kia when a 2003 Ford heading wet crossed over the double yellow lines and entered their lane, the report states.

Both vehicles negotiated to the left to avoid contact. The Ford’s front right struck the front right of the Kia, sending both vehicles into a clockwise rotation, according to the report.

The Ford went into a ditch and overturned, and the Kia came to a final rest facing south in the middle of 412, the report states.

David Roubidoux and the other driver both sustained injuries. The injured were taken to Northwest Medical Center and Washington Regional Medical Center, the report states.
