FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KFTA) — Enrollment opened for the Arkansas Health Insurance Marketplace (AHIM) 2019 plans.

The state-based exchange provides coverage for those without access to insurance through employers.

Each plan features no restrictions for pre-existing conditions and no lifetime limits.

Angela Lowder with AHIM said when it comes to getting signed up, sooner is better than later.

“We always see volume towards the end, so get started early.  If you’re a returning customer, you’ve been there, done that. Just get in there are take care of it,” Lowder said.
