Steel Spikes Installed on White House Fence


WASHINGTON, D.C. — At the White House today, steel spikes began to be installed along the top of the fence. It’s a temporary fix as officials consider long-term security upgrades following several high-profile security incidents, including last September when a man ran past secret service officers through the front door and into the east room before being detained.
