As storms swept across Northwest Arkansas late Wednesday morning, several trees fell in Siloam Springs and caused major damage to homes.
Community members who live in condos along Dawn Hill Road said that at around 11:30 a.m. they heard a crunchy noise as trees crashed down on top of their homes.
You could see the roots from fallen trees in the area as well as limbs and debris scattered all along the road.
The Benton County Road Department responded quickly, clearing the trees with chainsaws.
Dinah, who lives in one of the condos, said it all happened very quickly.
“I was sleeping here and I heard tree limbs falling like bombs on the roof, and then I went over to this room here and watched the tree go that way,” Dinah said.
Dinah said there is minor damage inside, including a leak.
Those who live in these two condos said luckily no one was injured.
