The Fort Smith Polar Plunge for Special Olympics is Saturday, February 2, in Fort Smith.

The fundraiser involves teams and individuals who’ll jump into Creekmore Park Pool.  All money raised will go to Special Olympics Arkansas, according to a representative from the nonprofit.

A minimum donation to plunge is $50 and you’ll get a souvenir long sleeve shirt.  Thousand-dollar donors get a beach towel, backpack, a roadside assistance kit and a long sleeve plunge shirt.  There are donation amounts in between, too.

The event is hosted by Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Arkansas.
