The National Child Protection Task Force is helping law enforcement track missing children.

The NCPTF was in Springdale, providing a training course to law enforcement this week on successful ways to help find missing children.

Kevin Metcalf, the founder of the task force, said that it combines multiple ways for different agencies to track missing and exploited children to help law enforcement.

“So we’ve brought a team of experts together; they’re experts in one specific area, and we’re hoping that all of the attendees, law enforcement will start seeing the connections and start really digging in and using the what information is available,” Metcalf said.

The opening speaker was Colleen Nick, the mother of Morgan Nick, who was kidnaped from a baseball game in Alma in 1995.
