Teen Falls From Bluff at Mule Tail Falls, Airlifted From Scene

A teenage boy fell from a bluff at Mule Tail Falls, a popular waterfall located along the bluff line to Hawksbill Crag, on Saturday, April 20, according to Newton County Sheriff’s Office’s (NCSO) Facebook.

The 15-year-old from Texas fell approximately 15 feet and severely injured his legs, the post states. 

The teenager also suffered facial injuries.

The teenager was airlifted to Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Springdale, according to the post. 

Around 30 rescue personnel responded to the scene, the post states.
