Construction is officially underway for Bentonville’s newest independent school.
With the support of the Walton Family Foundation, the school has selected a team of architects to design its 30-acre campus in Downtown Bentonville.
The campus will consist of several buildings, structures, and landscape features that create a varied and innovative learning environment.
The school opened this fall in temporary classrooms and offices.
“The ground breaking ceremony is really just a way to celebrate the community that has brought us to this moment in our development as a school,” Clayton Marsh, Founding Head of the Thaden School said.
Construction of the school’s campus is now underway.
The first buildings are scheduled for completion in 2018 with the rest to follow by 2020.
