Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge has rejected a proposed amendment to Arkansas’s Constitution that would legalize Marijuana.
Rutledge says the proposal was rejected because of unclear language used in the text. This is not the first time she has rejected the proposal.
Back in October, Rutledge said the section regarding the release of prisoners convicted of marijuana related offenses needed to be clarified.
The amendment can be resubmitted with changes for the Attorney General’s approval.
