FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KFTA) – It was the first weekend for the farmers market to open back up on the square.
Around 70 vendors set up selling fresh produce that was grown here locally in Northwest Arkansas. Craft vendors as well as coffees and baked goods were also at the market. The Easter Bunny made a special early appearance as well.
” Normally we don’t open until the first Saturday in April. Because of Easter falling so early, we decided to open early and the city was kind enough to give us permission, ” said Teresa Maurer, farmers market co-manager.
The Farmers Market will stay open through November happening every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
