FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) — The longest running garden party was held yet again Friday in Fayetteville.
The Greening of the Garden at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks celebrated the arrival of spring and summer seasons.
Nate kuester from KNWA/Fox 24 emcee’d the event.
On top of events like this, the Botanical Garden puts a lot of emphasis on educating the local youth.
“We have wonderful education programs for children and adults,” Charlotte Taylor, executive director of the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks. “We educate about 18 to 19,000 children a year through our programs.”
The goal of the Greening of the Garden is to raise money for those programs, as well as everything else the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks does for the community.
The Botanical Garden is open every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
