On Wednesday, July 19 the festival will kick off with the Cinema on the Square screening of the animated film SING at 9PM. Thursday, July 20 the concessionaires bring their wares, from good ol’ home cookin’ to handmade arts and crafts. Also that morning there is a scavenger hunt scheduled, along with Johnson County Idol (ages 1-17) and music entertainment.

Plan to stay all day Friday the 21st with events such as the diaper derby, helicopter tours, pocket car race, bicycle obstacle course, the Kids’ Zone (inflatables), frozen T-shirt contest and skateboard contest. There will also be a peach cobbler and jam and jelly bake-off, and a peach pie eating contest. The 4-mile run kicks off the activities on Saturday the 22nd, followed by fun-filled events including a fishing derby, cardboard boat regatta, greased pig chase, frog jump, terrapin derby, peach eating contest, Johnson County Idol (adult) and Lip Sync contest.
