SHARP COUNTY, Ark. (KARK)- Three men have escaped from the Sharp County Jail in Ash Flat. State agencies have been called to help search for the missing inmates.
Areawide Media of Salem reports the inmates, who escaped Wednesday, have been identified as Randall Sledge, 31; Christopher Frey, 25 and Robert Pollard, 18. According to a Sharp County Sheriff's Office news release, the escape was discovered around 7:30 during morning jail checks.
Frey reportedly has known connections around Horseshoe Bend and Sledge is from the Conway area.
The direction in which they are traveling is not yet known.
They escaped wearing county-issued clothing but it is also unknown if they are still wearing those clothes.
