Tontitown Meth Bust Nets Seven Suspects

TONTITOWN, Ark. (KFTA) — A major drug bust in Tontitown sent seven people to jail.

Washington County Sheriff Tim Helder announced Tuesday detectives with the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force found out about a group intending to distribute methamphetamine.

The task force organized an undercover sting and caught two people with three-quarters of a pound of methamphetamine and a gun.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Arkansas Highway Patrol and Tontitown Police Department arrested five others in connection with the sale and trafficking of the meth.

Those arrested include: Roger Martin, 50, of Gentry, Cynthia Meadors, 46, of Tontitown, Ryan Headrick, 33, of Jenks, Okla., and Joseph Raniewicz, 37, of Tulsa for trafficking of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Headrick was also charged with possession of firearm by certain persons prohibited and simultaneous possession of drugs and a firearm. Also arrested was Alfonso Herrera, 39, of Springdale for possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, Kenneth Howell, 53, for possession of drug paraphernalia and Anita Mann, 35, of Fayetteville for theft by receiving.

The investigation is still ongoing.
