The Nor’easter that is pounding the eastern seaboard gave folks in Washington, D.C. an excuse to have some fun. They had a snowball fight between the monuments on the National Mall which, granted, is a strange way to spend the first full day of Spring. The storm is the fourth Nor’easter in less than three weeks could bring more than a foot of snow to some east coast cities. It already brought hail, heavy winds, and tornadoes to southern states like Florida, Alabama, and Georgia.
Madame Tussauds Is getting ready for the royal wedding. The tourist attraction will soon unveil wax figures of future royal Meghan Markle in London and New York. Madame Tussauds has not said how Markle will be depicted, but it will be modeled after an iconic moment since her engagement. It did reveal that each statue costs roughly $210,000 to make. The London wax figure of Markle will be revealed ahead of the royal wedding on may 19th. The New York version will go on display this summer. The museum already features wax statues of Markle’s soon-to-be groom, Prince Harry, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince William and his wife, Kate.

A restaurant in Philadelphia is offering pizza that’s made with vodka. It’s teamed up with a local distillery to create a vodka-infused pie. The pizza is made with a vodka-infused dough, then vodka-infused mozzarella cheese is added, along with a vodka blush sauce and sun-dried tomatoes. The boozy dish is available for the price of a regular cocktail, ten dollars, or only six dollars during happy hour. Before you bring the family, keep in mind, the alcoholic pizza is only for customers 21 years old and up so be prepared to show some ID.
Last night at the Charlotte Hornet and Brooklyn Nets game. Dwight Howard was at the free throw line while Nets fan “Mr. Whammy” behind the basket trying to cause Howard to miss the free throw and his efforts worked as Howard misses the second free throw. As you can see, “Mr. Whammy” was fired up after the miss.
