#TopTrenders: Chefs Order 15,000 Eggs by Mistake

It was a dream come true for Philadelphia Eagles fans. As their team celebrates its first ever Super Bowl Championship.  The Super Bowl 52 Champions parading through the city on a five mile stretch.
Universities, school, government officers, museum, city court and even the Philadelphia Zoo shut down for the celebration. Officials expected as many as two million people to brave cold temperatures and gather along the parade route. Even businesses are making the most of the event. Bud Light offered free beer at two dozen bars.  The Eagles were underdogs leading into Super Bowl 52. But in the end came out ahead of the New England Patriots 41-33.

You could give this next situation a bronze medal and that’s only because of effort. Everybody knows Olympic athletes need proper nutrition including plenty of protein. But chefs for the Norwegian Winter Olympic team got way more protein than they bargained for over the weekend. They thought they had ordered 1,500 eggs when they received a Saturday delivery in South Korea but the eggs kept coming, and coming, and coming. It turns out that the order went through for 15,000 eggs instead of 1,500.
A spokesman for the Norwegian Olympic committee said the mistake may have been caused by a Google translate error. It all worked out though the delivery crew took back the 13,500 extra eggs.

Eat with someone new on national no one eats alone day. The movement takes place on the second Friday in February. The non-profit ‘Beyond Differences’ calls on students to invite new people to their lunch tables. Schools across America hope people look beyond their differences and talk with everyone.

If your partner loves their Big Macs then they’re really going to want this. McDonalds is giving away this Big Mac beauty. It’s a seven-layer, stackable ring called the “bling-mac,” and  Cosmo reports it’s worth upwards of $12,000. But McDonald’s is giving the 18 karat gold, gem-encrusted version of it’s classic sandwich away for free. For a chance to win it, social media users must tweet out their love for the Big Mac using the hashtag #blingmaccontest.
