Expecting parents Jacqueline and Michael Davis planned to attend the Caddyshack golf tournament in St. Augustine last week and hit a gold ball filled with powder to determine the sex of their child. When they got to the tee they saw Caddyshack actor Bill Murray, so naturally, they had him do the honors. The couple looked thrilled when blue powder came out of the ball revealing that it’s a boy.
A North Carolina teen gets into 113 colleges and universities an accomplishment she earned with the help of her 4.0 GPA. The 17-year-old applied receiving offers for full rides to three historically black colleges and universities after getting into 26 of the 53 historically black colleges and university she applied to. In addition to her high number of acceptances, Jasmine Harrison was also awarded more than $4.5 million in merit-based scholarships. Harrison has made a decision she will be attending Bennett College on a full ride, majoring in biology.
