Tornado damages homes west of Siloam Springs report shows likely EF-2

Damage to homes in Rose, Oklahoma

The National Weather Service confirms that a tornado touched down near Delaware County.

A preliminary report from the National Weather Service in Tulsa found structural damage and tree damage that is consistent with EF-2.

Chris Frye was live in Cherokee and Delaware County to see what conditions are like in Oklahoma.

North of the Teracita community, a little over 30 miles west of Siloam Springs, trees were down in roadways.

According to the National Weather Service, preliminary reports say that around 10:45 p.m. Monday, May 20, a tornado developed near Peggs, Oklahoma and traveled to Leach in Delaware County. 

Homes north of Rose, Oklahoma were damaged as well.
