ROGERS, Ark. (KNWA) — The man accused of killing a Rogers woman earlier this year appeared in court Friday.
A Benton County judge has reset a trial date for May 3 for 49-year-old Kevin Clayborn, who is accused of killing his live-in girlfriend.
Clayborn pleaded not guilty to charges of capital murder and theft of property.
Police said Clayborn lived with her and they were in a relationship.
Clayborn is also accused of stealing her car after he killed her.
He was found in Oklahoma City and extradited back to Benton County.
Clayborn is being held without bond in the Benton County Detention Center and could be sentenced to life in prison or death if he’s convicted of capital murder.
