Rogers High School held a special ceremony Tuesday as a student was granted a special wish.
Students linked their arms together and formed a human chain in front of the high school as Emalee Clark and her family arrived in a limo with a police escort.
In a Hawaiian-themed celebration, over 1,000 balloons fell as the DECA Club presented Clark with a trip to Hawaii through the Make a Wish Foundation.
“I want to learn how to surf,” Clark said. “I kind of planned on doing that and swimming with dolphins.”
This was the high school’s ninth Make a Wish celebration.
