Tusk & Trotter Trains to Treat A-List #BvilleFilmFest Crowd

BENTONVILLE, AR — Bentonville-based Tusk & Trotter is bracing for the Film Festival celebrity crowd.

Owner and Chef Rob Nelson said they are bringing in more staff and training them on how to treat A-listers, which is to show respect and show them a good time. His restaurant will be hosting the VIP reception Friday night and is expecting more than 150 people.

Even with an open bar and plenty of passed hors-d’oeuvres, Nelson is hoping his guests leave with more than just full stomachs.

“High south cuisine. We try to stay within the Ozark area, hitting the corners of Oklahoma of course and Missouri and Arkansas and just cook what’s indigenous here. Try to show them how sustainable the State of Arkansas is with all of the different livestock and different produces that we grow here, and we just want to try to show them what we’re all about.”

Tusk & Trotter is also at the Ice House this week for the film festival. Chef Nelson is excited to see the Bentonville food scene reach folks nationwide.
