Two juveniles were arrested in Fort Smith, accused of a drive-by shooting that occurred Tuesday night.
Patrol officers located the suspects and arrested them on suspicion of aggravated assault with a vehicle, aggravated assault with a firearm and second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor, according to Fort Smith police.
A Fort Smith woman told police that she was driving south on South Albert Pike Avenue near Rogers Avenue with some passengers in her vehicle when a gold Pontiac G6 with two people inside pulled up behind her, according to a police report.
The woman said as she drove, the Pontiac followed her vehicle closely and one of the occupants of that vehicle threw objects at her vehicle, according to the report.
The woman said the Pontiac pulled up alongside her and one of the vehicle occupants pointed a handgun out of the passenger-side window, firing a shot. She said the shot hit her vehicle, the report states.
No one was injured, police said.
