U of A Football Player Pleads Not Guilty to Drugs & Firearms Charges

The University of Arkansas football player charged with felony possession of drugs and firearms with intent to deliver pleaded not guilty Monday in Washington County Circuit Court.

Demetrius “Dee” Walker was arrested Dec. 12 after a four-month investigation and faces multiple felony charges.

Officers ound more than 90 grams of marijuana, 40 Xanax pills and an AR-15 rifle loaded with a magazine during a search of Walker’s residence, according to a police report.

Walker is free on bond while awaiting trial.

A trial date has not yet been set.

Walker is currently suspended from the team.
