FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) — Researchers at the University of Arkansas have been given grants to study the effects of concussions.

Two biomedical engineers got $375,000 from the national science foundation for the study.

They’re using the money as part of a three year project to study repeated injuries over time on the brain.

The engineers claim it’s an understudied area that affects a lot of people.
