U of A To Host West Fork HS Students In Learning Game Technology

Students from West Fork High School will get a unique opportunity to learn and develop software for the next generation of game technology.

The West Fork High School Game Design class will be participating in a University of Arkansas Tesseract Game Design Studio with Dr. Dave Fredrick and his students. Dr. Fredrick and his team will lead West Fork High School students in an introduction to Unity educational game development, virtual reality experiences and augmented reality devices. J.B. Hunt Building, room 255 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.

Dr. Cynthia Sides, Associate Director for the Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the Director of the IGNITE(Industry Generating New Ideas and Technology through Education) will be presenting to the WFHS students on rotation with the Tesseract studio. J.B. Hunt Building, room 330.
Mourad Benamara, director of the Arkansas Nano & Bio Materials Characterization Facility and his staff will be leading the WFHS students in a tour of the nanoscience engineering facility.
